Here is more great news for Mukesh Asopa’s “The Taste of Relation”. It is an official selection in the festival and is approved by “The Ministry Of India” for screening in Jaipur Film Festival 2010 (Jaipur International Film Festival-2010). JIFF India (No-57)

October 15 was a thrilling day for Mukesh Asopa and the cast of ‘The Taste of Relation’, as their film was released and screened in INOX in India at Global Cinema Festival-2009. It was the world premiere for ‘The Taste of Relation’ and what a thrill it was to be screened next to films such as that of Satyajit Ray, Rajnikant and Raj Kapoor and Shemaroo’s Animation Film, GHATOTHKACH (and eight of its other films)!

This was a first for the Global Cinema Festival (GCFEST) too, as it made its debut in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. It was officially inaugurated on October 8 by the Cultural Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mr. Laxmikant Sharma and the guest of honor, actress Priyanka Chopra. There were filmmakers from all over the globe present to celebrate cinema and share their creation in order to entertain the audiences.

For Mr. Asopa and other filmmakers like him, the festival presented itself as a whole new venue for ‘The Taste of Relation’ and he found the audiences to be appreciative of his work. To be able to take his passion to the other side of the globe was truly a moment that will not soon be forgotten.

We here at ICB congratulate Mr. Asopa and his cast and crew on this amazing accomplishment as we look forward to seeing where else his art will take him not only with ‘The Taste of Relation’ but his other creations as well.
