Seduction 2008, the New Year’s Eve Bash at Sahara Star Hotel, Mumbai that we reported on early, turned ugly after the performances for Koena Mitra. The actress was actually stalked and attacked inside the five-star hotel later on that evening after being on stage with Bipasha Basu and Tanushree Dutta.
Visibly shaken, she says it was a very traumatic experience for her. Before the show the man asked her for a photograph and when she agreed he boldly inquired whether he could hold her for the picture. Koena, in no uncertain terms, told him to take a hike. The security guards intervened and took him away. However, that was far from the end of the story.
After the show Koena, Basu and Dutta went to the VVIP lounge. The stalker again appeared before her and asked to shake her hand. Thinking it would just end the situation if she appeased him, she obliged, only to have him crush her hand to the point of pain.
Seeing the look of horror on Koena’s face, security came running and pushed him way. Yet still the man persisted. Before anyone was aware of what was going to happen, he pounced on Koena and grabbed at her waist. Out of sheer shock, Koena slapped the man, which had little impact on his shoulders, as he towered over her at six feet.
Frantic, Dutta and the others screamed. The look in the stalker’s eyes as he was forcibly taken out of the establishment and his ranting about the dozens of pictures he has of Koena on his mobile phone, has left Koena quaking with fear.
The actress, who celebrates her birthday on Jan 7 says, “I’m going to be very careful about where I go and how I celebrate my birthday.”

For her new children’s action flick Rama The Savior, Tanushree become an action girl and she’s loving it. Shot in Thailand, it has various exotic locales and is loaded with many action stunts.
The free-spirited actress is doing all her own stunts, which were very nerve-racking at first. She says, “It was tough, initially I was getting the jitters, I was concerned about my own safety but the producers of the film were very considerate and the director and the action director made sure there were adequate safety features on the sets and we went ahead with the shoot.”
What did it take for her to achieve this new avatar? No crash diets she reveals, but a lot of hard work.

Although 26-year old Shahid Kapur a.k.a. Sha-K enjoys being footloose and fancy free/single once more, he realizes that things can get a bit out of control because of his new-found status. A trip to Hong Kong proved that loud and clear.
Two days ago at the stage show he was performing at, things got a little out of hand and embarrassing for the young Bollywood heartthrob. Since time was of the essence, he rushed straightaway from the airport to the venue right upon landing. This is where things got a little scary. At the venue, thousands of NRI girls mobbed him while hysterically screaming his name.
Thankfully his friends, Akshay Kumar, Tanushree Dutta and Karan Johar were there with him for support … That and to get a good laugh over seeing Shahid’s face turn beet red.
Kapur’s Jab We Met has proven to be a hit. He is now filming for Aziz Mirza’s Kismet Connection.
