Chanel (Adrienne Bailon), Dorinda (Sabrina Bryan) and Aqua (Kiely Williams), are getting ready for college and dance camp when aspiring Bollywood movie director, Vik Bhatia (Michael Steger), offers them roles in his movie, Namaste Bombay. The girls make the decision to go for it and journey to India.

Everything looks rosy until the movie’s producer, Vik’s uncle Kamal (Roshan Seth)  drops the bomb when he tells them that there is only one available role, not three as they had originally expected. This leaves the Cheetah Girls competing with each other for the lead while trying to prove to the Gita (Deepti Daryanani) the choreographer that they can dance.

What will happen to the collective dream of Cheetah Girls comes into question, as each of them begins to contemplate her own dreams and aspirations.

The movie also stars Kunal Sharma as Amar and Rupak Ginn as Rahim. The film is being directed by Paul Hoen.

The Cheetah Girls One World allows the girls to experience many cultural traditions, leaving them personally affected by India’s captivating essence. Be tuned in to Disney Channel India as well as Disney Channels around the world in October 2008 for the premiere of this music and dance adventure. You won’t want to miss it.

It seems during their eight weeks of shooting in India, between Mumbai and Udaipur, the Cheetah girls have noticed the many hoardings with King Khan on them. Kiely Williams remarks, “What’s his name — Shah Rukh Khan? — we see his face everywhere. We are trying to get him in the film!”

Filming has been challenging for the girls, but exciting also. The essence of India’s has captured them as they are now big fans of both the music and food, architecture, dance and color. Aqua (Williams), Chanel (Adrienne Bailon), and Dorinda (Sabrina Bryan) say they love everything about India, and have been immersing themselves in the culture.

One interesting and scary experience happened while in Bombay as their car ran into an auto-rickshaw. The girls may have freaked out, but the driver assured them that is wasn’t a problem.

Cheetah Girls: One World is directed by Paul Hoen. It stars acclaimed actor Roshan Seth and Deepti Daryanani (The Anatomy of Hope). There will be three or four large-scale dance numbers, including very colorful and huge piece shot at Udaipur’s Lake Palace. It will air on the Disney Channel in the United States in August and around the world in the fall.

Learning to dance Indian style has been an eye-opener for the girls as well. Used to dancing hip-hop, which is energetic, but more of a rough and tough style, the talented dancers have a new found respect for the more feminine and graceful Indian dance style.

Bryan comments, “We’ve really been able to take the Cheetahs to a new level. India is something a lot of our viewers have not experienced.”

Working diligently on their new Disney film The Cheetah Girls 3 - One World, Sabrina Bryan, Adrienne Bailon and Kiely Williams are in India and loving it. Yesterday, (March 3) they shot the finale (out of sync with the order of the script) dancing in the palace of a prince.

They will be wearing beautiful custom made authentic wedding attire outfits that as Bryan says, “I couldn’t help but feel like a princess!”

The Cheetah Girls 3 - One World is definitely going to end with an all out musical Bollywood production. It is scheduled to be released on The Disney Channel August 2008.

Disney Channel viewers will play a part in determining certain elements of the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie The Cheetah Girls One World via a global online poll, Play Your Part, at Disneychannel.com rolling out beginning December 31 and concluding February 1, 2008.The music-driven movie will begin production in Udaipur, India, in January. Starring Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams and Sabrina Bryan, it continues the story of best friends Chanel, Aqua and Dorinda as they pursue their dream to become recording artists and embark on their biggest adventure yet – a role in a Bollywood movie.

Kids across the U.S., Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Japan and Australia can log on to their respective Disney Channel websites and, via several poll categories, can help choose some aspects of the movie including The Cheetah Girls wardrobe and the Indian cuisine they’ll sample. The winning choices will be revealed during its premiere next summer.

Well, there’s plenty of dancing going on between Sony Entertainment Television’s new dance show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa: Dancing With The Stars, that began on September 7^th of this year, another season of the UK’s Strictly Come Dancing and soon John Britto’s Dance Company’s new series of events, titled Dancing with the Stars. Yet, its the UK’s counterpart - the US’ Dancing With The Stars and the ouster of the couple who were the favored to win from the beginning of Season 5 that has been the talk of the town.Sabrina Bryan and Mark Ballas’ elimination came only two weeks after they scored a perfect 30! The scoop is that after a slightly troubled fox trot, the two didn’t receive enough votes from home viewers to keep them on the show. Some felt that maybe because they supposedly had the competition “in the bag” so to speak, that they didn’t need as many votes to keep them going. Obviously not the case.

Sad as it is that the two won’t be able to finish the competition, they still have full schedules. Mark and another Dancing with the Stars competitor and friend Derek Hough are working collaboratively on their musical talents for their band Almost Amy. Sabrina and her fellow Cheetah Girls are planning their trip to INDIA in January for the filming of their third Disney movie - The Cheetah Girls 3: Indian Adventure!

The Cheetah Girls will be going to India to star in a Bollywood movie. Soon after they arrive though, they discover that they will have to compete against each other to get the role in the film.

For those who are interested in becoming an extra for the film … Casting will continue in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
