Believe it or not, Irrfan Khan will be the leading man of a comedy film to be produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment as well as starring SRK but not in the lead role.
Shah Rukh Khan is teaming up with director Priyadarshan for Billoo Barber. The film tells the story of a friendship between a rich actor (SRK) and a poor barber (Irrfan). Thick friends in childhood, they find when they meet again years later, they are at different places in life.
The story is derived from Hindu mythology’s legend of Krishna and Sudama. Author Mushtaq Sheikh has written the screenplay along with Manisha Korde.
Billoo Barber’s leading ladies are yet to be finalized but the latest buzz suggests that Kareena Kapoor might play the role opposite SRK.
