Sexy siren Mandira Bedi and gorgeous gal Tara Sharma rocked at the launch of Toywatch held at Mumbai recently. ToyWatch, the Italian watch manufacturer has made its presence felt in India. The company has tied up with designer Nayntara Thacker who has her signature products named ‘By Tara’. The watches, priced between Rs 8,500 and Rs 3,50,000, are manufactured in Italy and will be initially available at hi-end boutique stores and then later at standalone stores.

Quantum of Solace was premiered at PVR, Juhu on Thursday night. And although numerous stars turned out, the limelight was stolen by Imran Khan who came with his girlfriend Avantika.

Mugdha Godse was also there having a blast. She seems to be enjoying her success in the recently released ‘Fashion’.

Archana Kochhar presented a spectacular show of opulent garments where the luxurious georgettes, crepes, nets and silks came alive in colours like rich fuchsia, turquoise, yellow, beige and black with lavish embroidery that dazzled the audience.

Opening the show with popular Bollywood actress, Gita Basra in a beige cocktail mini with sheer shoulder drape and rosette embroidery, the collection was a wonderful palette of trousseau wear.

3D rosettes, sari drapes for minis, dazzling lame gowns with crinkle trails, short criss- cross chiffon dresses, nets draped over shimmering brocades for dresses and gowns – the look was one of utmost extravagance. The finale with TV star and anchor, Mandira Bedi in a grey net floor length creation with pink ruffles on the hem with silver embroidery, was the highlight of the show.
