Media was invited on the sets of Jashnn where some scenes were being picturized on the main leads Anjana Sukhani and Adhyayan Suman. Producer Mahesh Bhatt and Director Hasnain S Hyderabadwala were present on the sets.

Filmmaker Anurag Basu (Life In A Metro …, Murder, Gangster, etc.) has a new mission – to direct Suicide Bomber, a film about the July 2005 London bombings. The July 7th attacks in the British capital targeted three underground trains and a double-decker bus, just as British Prime Minister Tony Blair was hosting a Group of Eight summit in Scotland. The dead included four suicide bombers, all Muslims, three of them born and raised in Britain of Pakistani immigrant parents.

Suicide Bomber is Anurag’s most realistic film to date. It tells the story of a British-Asian Muslim youth who becomes disillusioned by the post 9/11 world and the treatment of Muslims due to it. In order to seek justice he joins a suicide squad. The lead actor is Mahesh Bhatt’s son Rahul Bhatt. The female lead has not been chosen as yet.

The film does not sympathize with a suicide bomber but rather shows how society can bring about a change of heart in the people who think they have been wronged by it.

The production will be set in London and India.
