London is all abuzz and excited to be welcoming back the Zee Cine Awards. This annual event is held in various cities around the world and is returning to London for 2008. The last time it was hosted there was three years ago. The 2005 event proved to be a huge success.
The ZEE Cine Awards 2008 will be held at the London Excel Docklands Arena on Saturday, April 26th. ZEE TV will telecast the event in May. Be sure to tune into ZEE Radio (558 AM) ahead of time as they will be broadcasting special shows prior to the awaited event.
Which Bollywood stars will be attending the event are yet to be confirmed. Shahrukh Khan will not be attending though since he was just in London last month for the ZEE Carnival.

Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan launched London’s new ZEE Radio on February 16th. It took place at the ZEE Carnival 2008, an Asian lifestyle exhibition held at the Grand Hall in Kensington, Olympia, Central London. The 3-day celebration as also attended by other leading Bollywood stars as well.
Amazing musical artists also were there to perform, like Jay Sean and the Eastern Illusion dancers accompaning Navin Kundra (http://www.myspace.com/navinkundra), who rocked the crowd not only with Bollywood numbers such as ‘Dus Bahane’ but to the sheer delight of the packed audience, with his new super hit, Zinda Hoon (see video).
According to Lakhvinder Baddhan, “ZEE Radio will be a Bollywood centric station with an output consisting of 65% Hindi and 35% English. The station’s strap line has been confirmed as “Dil Se…Bollywood.” (courtesy bizasia.co.uk, which is part of media247.co.uk)
