It was a festive and exciting night at The UK AMAs Nominations Party at Gatecrasher in Birmingham tonight! Not surprising to us, was Navin Kundra’s nomination as Best Male Artist and Best Alternative Act! Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan launched London’s new ZEE Radio on February 16th. It took place at the ZEE Carnival 2008, an Asian lifestyle exhibition held at the Grand Hall in Kensington, Olympia, Central London. The 3-day celebration as also attended by other leading Bollywood stars as well.

Amazing musical artists also were there to perform, like Jay Sean and the Eastern Illusion dancers accompaning Navin Kundra (http://www.myspace.com/navinkundra), who rocked the crowd not only with Bollywood numbers such as ‘Dus Bahane’ but to the sheer delight of the packed audience, with his new super hit, Zinda Hoon (see video).

According to Lakhvinder Baddhan, “ZEE Radio will be a Bollywood centric station with an output consisting of 65% Hindi and 35% English. The station’s strap line has been confirmed as “Dil Se…Bollywood.” (courtesy bizasia.co.uk, which is part of media247.co.uk)
