The Indian Film Company has announced its line-up for the Cannes Film Market, which kicks off in Cannes on Wednesday, 13th May.

Indian Films-Studio18’s slate includes its blockbusters, Jab We Met, Welcome, Singh Is Kinng and Golmaal Returns. The movie majors are also offering buyers Kidnap, Dil Kabaddi, 1971, Awarapan and Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd., among other titles, alongside tent poles like Ghajini, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na and Sarkar Raj, in respect of which Indian Films owns select television and online rights. Future Bollywood films on the slate include the Anil Kapoor-produced Shortkut….The Con Is On, the Abbas-Mustan produced Life Partner and Ashtavinayak’s Luck.

The entire cast and crew of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal Returns’ got together at The Club in Andheri, Mumbai, to celebrate Diwali. Celina Jaitley flaunted her figure in a tradional Indian outfit, while Tusshar was his usual self in blue Kurta. Ajay was in causal black t-shirt and jeans. Arshad Warsi and Shreyas were also in Jeans and shirts. Kareena Kapoor was not present at the event. The Golmaal Returns team interacted with the media and wished everyone a happy Diwali.

Known to raise the bar on their films, Indian Films – Studio 18 are now giving the keenly anticipated Golmaal Returns a wide release in the overseas markets.

The second in the successful Golmaal series will have an 175-print outing internationally, far more than the number on which the first Golmaal had released back in 2006.

Golmaal Returns will have a day-and-date theatrical release in the UK & Ireland, North America & Canada, UAE, Germany, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, East Africa, West Africa, Fiji and Pakistan.

In India and the principal overseas markets, it releases on Wednesday, 29th October, 2008.

The trials of the most keenly awaited Diwali release, Golmaal Returns, have started in Mumbai.

On Sunday evening, the producers, Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision, and the worldwide distributors, Indian Films – Studio 18 had an inhouse trial, at which the response to the film was absolutely exemplary.

The other big show on Sunday evening was at Fun Republic, which was attended by Ajay Devgan, Kajol, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Celina Jaitly, Rohit Shetty, Manish Malhotra and their families. According to sources, the celebrities and their folk were seen laughing and clapping unstoppably, during the myriad comic sequences in the film.

Some days back, a special trial of the film was held for Karisma and Kareena Kapoor, who were joined by the latter’s friend, director Lovely Singh (It’s Rocking).

On Monday evening, the entire cast and crew of Golmaal Returns celebrated Diwali with select media in Mumbai. The dress code for the event was Indian.

It was informed days back that hottie Celina Jaitly plays a South-Indian woman, Meera Nair, in the forthcoming Golmaal Returns. If her new de-glam avatar wasn’t news enough, check out the bombshell looking like a traditional Tamil in this picture!

The actress has not only worked on her new look but has also delivered Tamil dialogues to add authenticity to the role she is playing!!!

There were no Tamil dialogues in the script initially, but later, the team decided that to add a few to give her sequences a more authentic and entertaining flavour!

We can’t wait to see the sultry actress deliver some sexy lines in Tamil!

The Golmaal Returns lads, Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade had to cross-dress on director Rohit Shetty’s call!!!

There was a scene in the film that required the boy gang to dress up like women. It happens to be Women’s Day (in the film) so they must dress up as females to be allowed entry into the mall.

Rohit Shetty shares, “I was quite taken aback when Ajay (Devgan) agreed to this scene in particular. He was very gung-ho to go ahead with the scene!! In fact none of the guys had any reservations, which made it one of the best scenes in the film.”

Kareena Kapoor is a professional when it comes to work. The beautiful lady shot for a song in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal Returns’ despite high temperature.

The song, cheekily called ‘Meow’ (and currently on air), features her in a complete catty look! Kareena had 104 temperature but regardless of this fact the sultry siren shot for the song choreographed by Bosco-Ceasar in Mehboob Studios recently.
