Rang Rasiya is based on a classical Indian novel ‘Raja Ravi Varma’ written by the award winning novelist and playwright Ranjit Desai. The Novel is woven around the life and times of the great Indian painter of the 19th century, Raja Ravi Varma.

The film headlines Randeep Hooda, Nandana Sen, Paresh Rawal, Deepti Naval playing important roles.
