Despite bearing the brunt of terrorists fury last month, Hotel Trident continues to be the hospitality partner of the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon with the hotel authorities hosting a press meet on 21st December 2008 to coincide with its re-opening after a gap of 25 days.

A host of dignitaries, including Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal, Indian Olympic Association (IOA) President and MP Suresh Kalmadi, the event ambassador John Abraham, actor Rahul Roy attended the media briefing for the sixth edition of the Mumbai Marathon, to be organised in Mumbai on January 18th.
