Roadside Romeo is the feature length animation which is being co-produced by Yash Raj Films and Walt Disney Pictures. It will be the first Bollywood animation that is not being marketed as a children’s film.

The story was written and directed by Jugal Hansraj (Mohabbatein, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Salaam Namaste, Aaja Nachle) and produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj banner. You’ll recognize Saif Ali Khan as the voice of Romeo. Kareena Kapoor and Jaaved Jaaferi will also lend their voice for the characters. The dialogues were written by Abbas Tyrewala. The music was composed by Salim–Sulaiman and the lyrics were created by Jaideep Sahni.

According to Yash Raj, Roadside Romeo is about “A rich, cool, spoiled brat of a dog is abandoned on the wicked streets of Mumbai. He faces new situations and dangerous, loony characters, the likes of which he has never met before.”
