We’re sure actor Shahrukh Khan will keep a tighter hold on his wallet after what happened last Friday afternoon. It seems he went on a shopping spree for clothes at a Mulund mall … well, at least his credit card did.

Thankfully for SRK, a sales executive in one of the mall stores noticed that the shopper using the credit card to buy clothes on Friday was not the actor himself. From there, things did not go as planned for the three crooks who decided to execute the identity theft scheme.

After supposedly finding Khan’s credit card lying on a road in Santa Cruz days before, the trio, Shekar Jadhav, James Perenal and Vinay Tambe, who are all currently unemployed, attempted to purchase RS 25,000 of clothing with it. After the clerk alerted the police, the three were arrested and taken to the Mulund police station for questioning.
