The restaurant of the famous Grand Hotel in Delhi which hosted An Evening in Paris with Fashion and Bollywood back in 2005 was the site of a major fire on Saturday morning. It began around 12:50 in the kitchen but the reason for the fire was not immediately known.

The occupants of the hotel were evacuated and no immediate reports of any casualty have been given so far.

An Evening in Paris was the event where designer Manav Gangwani paid a special tribute to the 1967 Bollywood hit by the same name and its lead actors, Shammi Kapoor and Sharmila Tagore.
