With a natural flair for painting, Sallu has now turned writer by penning a script over the past year which will become the film Veer. During times of writer’s block he was guided by his father, the legendary scriptwriter Salim Khan.

Produced by Vijay Galani, (Suryavanshi), Veer will be directed by Anil Sharma (Gadar). Khan himself will play the lead role. There is a good possibility that Sajid-Wajid will be composing the film’s songs. It is a period film based in the 1800-1900s.

“Salman has written a beautiful script,” says Anil Sharma. Veer will go on the floors in July. Eros Entertainment will present the film which has a budget of over Rs 75 crores.
