Music director Vishnu Narayan recently registered a complaint against Bollywood playback singer Udit Narayan for allegedly assaulting him after an argument at a recording studio in the north-west suburb of Versova.
Vishnu, (Chand Ke Paar Chalo), booked the studio for his new music album after confirming the dates with Udit. When the singer allegedly came late to the studio (around 5 pm) Vishnu was expected to bear additional expenses from the studio‘s owner.
According to the police report filed, this caused the two to get into a verbal argument, which turned into a subsequent scuffle. At this point in time, Udit has not filed his own complaint with the police.
After Bollywood’s dancing queen Madhuri Dixit’s latest film Aaja Nachle, we wonder what new ventures might be in her future and how another Bollywood diva, namely Aishwarya Rai Bachchan feels about Dixit’s return to the silver screen.
Last seen mesmerized audiences together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas, Rai doesn’t fear competition from Dixit. Rather, she says Dixit is a very talented actress and dancer and she would like to work with her again if the opportunity comes along.
“We shared a very good rapport at the time of working in Devdas and were very comfortable with each other. I want to wish her success.” said the former Miss World.

While shooting Taare Zameen Par in Panchgani, Aamir Khan needed forty three children to shoot during holiday time. The principal of the school where the shooting was being held generously offered to send letters to parents of students asking them if their children would like to participate in the film, forfeiting their holidays. It was amazing how eager the students were to do so. Even their boarding guardians and teachers helped to get “taare zameen par” during holiday time!
Taare Zameen Par, Aamir Khan’s directorial debut is about a boy who has dyslexia. Dyslexia often manifests itself as difficulty with a written language, particularly with reading and spelling. There are those that consider dyslexia a gift though, rather than the stigmatism or learning disability as it has become widely known as today. Consider the following quote from the Davis Dyslexia Association International (http://www.dyslexia.com/) :
“Dyslexic people are visual, multi-dimensional thinkers. We are intuitive and highly creative, and excel at hands-on learning. Because we think in pictures, it is sometimes hard for us to understand letters, numbers, symbols, and written words. We can learn to read, write and study efficiently when we use methods geared to our unique learning style.”
Besides directing and producing the film, Khan plays teacher Ram Shankar Nikumbh. Did you know that some of the famous Hollywood celebrities cope with dyslexia as Nikumbh’s young student Ishaan Awasthi (Darsheel Safary) in the film? Some of them weren’t even aware of it until they were adults and went through their childhood years, unaware. They are: Orlando Bloom, Tom Cruise, Patrick Dempsey, Harrison Ford, Whoopi Goldberg, Salma Hayek, Keira Knightly, Keanu Reeves and Gwen Stefani.
